When I first came to Nautilus, I really came to try and kick start my body again into losing weight. It seems I was in a lull. I had been dealing with some life issues and had put on 15 lbs. and wanted desperately to get rid of it. My 2 kids were getting married within two weeks of each other (more stress) so I wanted to shed the 15 lbs if possible. I have to admit, I wasn’t really excited about being here but thought that it might motivate me to lose if I joined; as, nothing else was really working.

I joined Nautilus Fitness last year a month after my wedding. Before joining I had started toiling away at my home gym with limited equipment, however once I was married and moved into Asheboro I no longer had room for the simple weight bench and I had reached a point where I wanted to do more.

I was never one to do much physical fitness. Then one day in December of 2011, I decided to go for a run, and before I knew it, I was running on a regular basis. By February of 2012, I was at a stand still with running and wanted to do more. Joining a gym was something I was very hesitant on. My last attempt at joining a gym was a joke. I went for about a month and then I was stuck paying the monthly fee until my contract ran up. I wasn’t so sure I would have the time nor the motivation to do another gym membership, but was willing to give it a try...
